Toys to Nurture, Play with Purpose
Opened in April 2008 the shop aims to provide a broad range of quality and unique toys and affordable gifts that enhance the creative play and education of children from birth to ten years of age.
The shop is owned by sisters Allysa and Lynelle, both experienced teachers and mothers of young children. This background enables them to give professional advice when it comes to selecting a toy or gift that will suit your child’s needs and developmental level.

Allysa – has nearly twenty years teaching experience with qualifications in primary education, teacher-librarianship and school management. She has taught in a number of Queensland State and Independent schools.
Allysa has two sons aged 8 and 10.
Lynelle – has a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood). She has almost ten years teaching experience in year one and preschool. She was the founding teacher of a large state preschool centre in Caloundra and stayed in this position until taking leave to begin her own family.
She has two young daughters aged 5 and 2.
Allysa and Lynelle are both passionate about play based education and providing children with loads of fun and positive experiences to give them the best possible start to their education. Their love of children’s picture books and storytelling is alive in the shop with weekly storytelling sessions.
